Changing the Paper Size from Legal to A4

S

Sandi

I have a document which is set to Legal. If I try to change it to A4 I get
an error message saying "Settings you chose for the left & right margins,
column spacing, or paragraph indents are too large for the page in some
sections". My only option is an "OK" button and it will not let me change
the paper size. Any suggestions??

I'm guessing that this problem is probably *not* occurring in Microsoft
Access, as to the best of my knowledge Microsoft Access has no concept of
'paragraph indents'. If you're getting the error in a different application,
you'll improve your chances of getting a good answer by posting in a
newsgroup dedicated to that application. Off hand, though, my guess is that
you probably need to adjust the left and right margins, column spacing, and
or paragraph indents before trying to change the paper size.

We regularly use A4 with A2003 and no problems.

Have you gone into page setup and looked at your margins and paper
selections and then at the actual dimensions of your report. My guess would
be that somewhere in that mix you'll find your solution.
