Changing the timesheet

In the "Print Grid"section of View My Tasks, is there any
way to add project attributes to the "Available Columns",
such as WBS, Baseline, etc? The default is Task Name,
Work Type, and the dates.

Thanks in advance,
Brian

The Print Grid option can only print the columns that are present in the
timesheet grid. If additional columns are needed, then two things need to
be done:

1. The Project Server administrator must modify the Timesheet view in PWA
to display those extra columns
2. Each project manager must add the extra columns in every project to the
Published Fields list by clicking Tools - Customize - Published Fields, and
must republish every project using Collaborate - Publish - Republish
Assignments to "push" the data into those new columns in the Timesheet view

Hope this helps.

Dale,
Thank you for the quick response, your advice was
excellent. Now for a question that dovetails the first.
When Iclick on "Tasks", and see the timesheet grid, I see
the fields/columns I need to see, however, when I click
on "Print Grid", those fields/columns I need ot see are
not options in the "Available Columns". Is there a way to
get them to show up in "Available Columns"?

Thanks again, Brian

I'm sorry, but I think I jumped the gun on the answer I gave you. I was
thinking of the Project Center views where the Print Grid feature allows you
to select from among the columns displayed in the table portion of the View.
As I review how the Print Grid feature works on the Timesheet, apparently it
is programmed to print only the Task Name column along with the days of the
week displayed in the timesheet portion of the View. This allows the team
member to print a paper record of their timesheet for any period. I'm sorry
if my original answer caused you to waste any time.
