Using Outlook 2000...
Messages from certain people (coming through a listserv, if that matters), come to me with this:
This message uses a character set that is not supported by the Internet
Service. To view the original message content, open the attached
message. If the text doesn't display correctly, save the attachment to
disk, and then open it using a viewer that can display the original
character set. <<message.txt>>
The headers show:
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO8859_1
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
Is this an Outlook issue, or (as the message implies) an issue with my ISP?
