Chart axis in Excel

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel I am trying to use a stacked column chart and I cannot figure out how to get the X axis to be years. I just get 1, 2, 3... Is there a way to edit the X axis units?
