Chart data combined with different types of data

I think you can do what Peter suggests, using a
line chart then right click on one of the lines,
select "format data series", select Axis tab,
and then select 'secondary axis' this will plot
both sets of values with a left Y-axis of one
and the right Y-axis with the other.

chart. For instance, one chart would be dollar amounts,
while the other would be numbers. I want to show the
correlation between the two with a combo chart, but it
seems if I select more than one set of data it messes up.
But, if I choose just one set it does what I want.
