found that if my powerpoint don't work, I open task manager, then
PowerPoint.exe and Graph9.exe take up much time of cpu.

Thank you for including so many good details, Harry. Can you also tell us
which antivirus program are you using? I'm asking because there are some
(specifically thinking of Norton Antivirus here) that have Office plug-ins
which can cause this kind of issue.

Echo S, Thank you for your reverting, We use Symantec Antivirus now.
I don't konw the antivirus software will affect the PowerPoint.
If symantec antivirus will affect the powerpoint to make the chart, would
you like give me some solutions ?

wait for your answer.

Try disabling the Symantec Antivirus's Office Plug-in. (You'll still be
protected, so don't worry about that!) Here are instructions:

Thanks, Echo S. I read the information that you gave me. But, I use the
"Symantec Antivirus", and the program version is 8.1, scan engine is 4.2. In
this version, I can't find the configure about the Office plug-in.
But I know the reason. I will have a try. thanks a lot for your help.
