charting progressive totals

Hi

would appreciate some help. I can produce progressive totals in a report ok,
but cannot work out how to show those totals in a chart. If I could produce
the progressive totals in a query, I could chart them, but so far cannot
work out how to do so. It is so easy to do in excel, but access???
