i have a huge database, so my queries/reports are run with parameters. I'm now trying to chart against one of the reports, and it at first gave me a mesage "The microsoft jet database engine does not recognize '[Enter a Bus Unit:]' as a valid field name or expression". I then went to properties, and changed the Row Source to my particular report (the original row source had a VERY long SQL stmt about "transform sum([SumOfProposed qty].....blah,blah, blah. Anyway, once i chg'd the row source, i now am able to enter parameters for the chart, but the chart isn't showing me the information i need. I've never done any charting, and i'm fairly new to Access. i've been reading lots of help screens, and office discussion, and that's where i saw to chg the Row Source (maybe i wasn't supposed to do that ??
