Charts Dissappear

When I make a chart and then click on the page, all it
shows is the white box outlined. The chart hasn't been
deleted because when you go to print preview it shows it
on the page. And it will print on the page. But you can't
see it unless you are in print preview. Thanks for any
help

Tools | Options | View:

1. Check the box for "Drawings."

2. Clear the check box for "Picture placeholders."
