Charts Don't Email Correctly

When I email a chart it changes the axis information from a date to a number
and the percentage signs change from percents to numbers. Is there an option
that I might not have set right.

How are you emailing your chart? Usually a chart format is linked to the
source data (on the number format tab), but if you separate the chart from
its datasheet, it doesn't know what it should look like.

I created it in one workbook only using that information within that book and
then I copy the chart into a blank workbook and save it. Then I email the
workbook with only the chart in it.

Before copying the chart, double click any text element, and on the Number
tab, uncheck the Linked to Source box. The chart should retain the
formatting, even when copied to another workbook and separated from the
original.
