i want to be able to create a double y axis graph to plot 4 elements - 1 element using one y axis and 3 elements using the second y axis. is this possible?
Yes, assuming that 'elements' refers to what XL/Graph call series.
Plot all four series. For each series you want to move to the
secondary y axis, double-click the series, and in the resulting dialog
box, in the Axis tab, select 'Secondary'.
