Chat functionality

Is there any built in options or third party supported Chat functionality
that anyone could recommend for my Exchange 2007 outlook 2003 ENV?

Also - does anyone know if outlook 2010 would have this feature available?

Outlook cannot chat. It has hooks, though, to call Windows Messenger in some
cases, though.

OCS is a large rollout, is it not? I would have to purchase that license plus
hardware to run the server right? I would love to have the money to purchase
and install but not for CHAT only functionality. Hopefully at some point the
OCS application will be ready to replace PBX systems and then it would be a
good time to roll that out.

Does anyoen have any suggestions for 3rd Party Chat plug-ins to outlook.
There are so many. I can do this for $200 for my whole organization.
