Check Book Register

I'm trying to create something similiar to a Check Book register within
Access; but I'm struggling with keeping the "running balance". Any ideas or
is there any samples that I can look at?

qry_Running_Bal
Posted_Date Amount (either + or -) Balance the 1st records
balance will be equal to the Amount field next record
Posted_Date Amount (either + or -) Balance (should be the prior record
balance added to the Amount)
