check boxes and too much data!

Hi

me again with another ? about check boxes...i'm going to
need close to 150 check boxes in an area on my
worksheeet. is there anothere way to "link" them to a
cell or something so that the 'true' and 'false' don't
show up on my worksheet? otherwise, i'm going to end up
with 150 'trues' and 'falses' floating around my screen!

this document is actually going to be a form that i fill
out on about 60 students, each need the whole form. is
there an easier way than saving the worksheet under 60
names??? i tried a 'form' in access, but it told me i had
too many fields defined and that they wouldn't all fit on
the form!!

any help is appriciated!

This may depend upon which version of XL you are using,
use the check box from the Forms toolbar, not the control
toolbox, then when you right click and choose format you
will find a control tab, here you can link it to cell. Use
a separate sheet for these links, then when you have
finished with each student, go to this sheet and then do a
copy and paste special - values to a different location,
where you can use row 1 for the student names.
