Check boxes in Word

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) Processor: Power PC Hello

I am trying to produce a check list in word... which I have done via "Forms". But, I want it so that you only have the choice of checking one box from the list at any one time. Is this possible?
