Check Boxes

Can anyone tell me if this is possible. I want the text in cell A1 to appear
in cell A2 only if the check box in cell A3 is checked. If this is possible,
can you tell me how to do it?

If you use a linked cell for that checkbox, you can check it in your formula.

For instance, if A3 is the linked cell for the checkbox hovering over A3, this
formula would go in A2:

=if(a3=true,a1,"")
or
=if(a3<>true,"",a1)

Or if A1 can be empty:
=if(a3<>true,"",if(a1="","",a1))
(to stop 0 from showing up when A1 is empty)
