Check Boxes

Does anyone know how I can get my checkboxes to come up
on my form blank,and then I can check them only when they
should be. As it is now, they come up with the checks
already in them, and I have to remove the unwanted checks.

Set the Default Value property of the field in the table design view to Off
/ False / No
