Check in and Check out in FP 2002

Ref: Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 823744

Do any of you know of this fix? Please read the article
above. Our company purchased a site license for FP 2002
and now we are having issues with the check in and check
out feature. Any help would be appreciated.
