Check In/Check Out (what version of Frontpage to use??)

Hi there,

I have Frontpage 2002 (10.6308.6626) SP3 running on the
local computer and the server is running extensions for
2000. I am having a problem with the check-in feature. I
can check files out fine but it shows a lock and will only
allow me to delete the file but not check it in.

Also, can someone shed a bit of light on if I should
upgrade the server to extension 2002, and how does
Sharepoint fall into the equation with VSS?
