Checkmark symbol

Is there a checkmark symbol on the distributed fonts? I did find one that is
close, a square root symbol: unicode 221A, Alt-X

Hi Peter,

Check the Windings font. There you should find both a tick and a cross in a box.

Look in the Wingdings font, character code 252, near the end.
