Chinese Characters in a PowerPoint presentation

I have Office X on my Powerbook G4 and I would like to be able to
enter Chinese characters into a PowerPoint presentation. Everytime I
try the Chinese does not show up on the slide. Also does anyone have
Pinyin fonts? I have Arial MT but for some strange reason it has
altered Safari and when ever I open a page in Safari all of the
numbers are replaced with pinyin.

THe problem is that you need full unicode support for Chinese in PPT and
PPT X doesn't offer it. I've read announcements that were mentioning
that it was coming for PPT 2004...
