Choose Profile dialog box

Does anybody know why the choose profile dialog box would keep popping up
when Outlook is closed (Outlook 2002 and XP home with latest update)? It does
this even when there are no programs open, and no matter what you click on
the box it will re-appear in seconds until you open Outlook. I have virus
scanned my computer (Norton) and have detected nothing and also have a
firewall (Zonealarm pro) in place. There is also a program called "W" that my
computer keeps prompting me to close when I shut down my computer - is this
related? Thanks.

Do you have any synchronisation of fax software installed that loads on
startup? These programs try to connect to Outlook then

I thought I had checked these programs but then noticed that there is a
synchronistion program that connects outlook to the orange web site I had
missed. I thought this would only work if my phone was connected but changed
its settings anyway (seems obvious now). This seems to have stopped outlook
opening, so thanks for the help. Can't believe this thing trys to open
outlook every few seconds.
Cheers.
