Where can I find a free (easy) program to design a calendar w/pics

Here's a link to a PDF of a Calendar I created using Powerpoint: http://www.colorado-martialarts.com/Calendar/Jan2008.pdf It's pretty basic, but I think it gets the point across. Essentially, it's simply graphics layered behind 5 weeks of aquares with text embedded in them.
