Circular error and then corruption

Hello all,

Has anyone had the experience of getting the 'circular relationship' message
when opening a project (from a database), and then the project appears to
become corrupt.. task ids are not in sequence, some are skipped and the All
Tasks filter is applied, Sort is by ID. The circular relationship message
is also very generic, not referencing any task id.

I've searched the Knowledge Base at Microsoft.com and couldn't come up with
anything...

Laura,

Yes we have experienced this and have worked with
Microsoft and found out it is a known bug. There is
a "hot fix" unfortunately I don't have the "Hot Fix"
number handy. You probably can get the info from your
Microsoft support folks.
