Circular Reference

I've got a workbook with some formulae with (deliberate) circular
references in them. They've suddenly stopped working. Is there
anything the user might have done to make this happen?

Did you set the iterations to 0 or 1

In the Calculation Options, ensure that Iteration is enabled and set
to the appropriate value (probably 1).

For OP

If the circ refs were working before and iterations set properly, perhaps
user just set calculation mode to manual.

Have tried re-setting Calc Mode - nothing. I've got this in COL B: =IF
(C1742="","",IF(B1742="",NOW(),B1742)), COL B formatted for date, and
this in COL C: =IF(D1742="","",IF(C1742="",NOW(),C1742)), COL C
formatted for time. Normally, as soon as an entry is made in D1742
(and D1743, D1744 and so on down the rows), date appears in COL B and
time appears in COL C. It stopped working after ROW 1749. I've got 6
workstations with 1 workbook for each workstaion, so I've got 5 other
workbooks like this and they're all still working. Are there any
comparisons I could make between them which might show something up?

Also, on Open, it's giving me a warning about the workbook containing
circular references, which it never used to do.
