Citrix Environment Tips

Hello Every One.

So here at the company i work at have Citrix which is looked after by
an external computer company.

the problem is that to use Citrix we have to login via internet
browser.

and then We all have a user profile set up. and we have access to a
shared Server (P:) Public

the way its set up is to access any thing from the local hard drive on
the PC is to click on my computer on the Citrix environment and the
click in the V: which looks at the Physical Hard drive on PC (C:)

I'm unable to look up the Citrix server from PC, and you cant drag and
drop or copy and paste from the Citrix explore window to a Desktop
window. it have to be all done by going through V:

My Database is located on a folder on the Citrix a front end and a
back end the database is very fast when one person logs into the front
end.

but if 2 or more people long in using the same front end, the database
becomes painfully slow.

Ive also tried creating a separate front end and kept it on the server
and tried logging in that one while some else logged in via a second
front end. and it does not make any difference.

my solution would be to have a front end on each PC's but i can quite
see how i can do that with the way our Citrix is Set Up

So Does Any One have any Suggestions?

Regards

Dan
