citrix, sharepoint, issues and risico's problems

Anyone an idea what could ne the problem (possible citrix of profile problem):

- When I connect epm web access via fat client: epm works fine
- When I connect epm web access via a Citrix (published) application: I
can't create risico's and issue's (but I can read them). The HTML file is
complete loaded (when viewing the source via IE menu), but is not showing the
input boxes etc. The page is completely blank.
- When I connect via citrix and I'm using documents and go to the explorer
view, this applet gives a loading error

The administrators can't solve this issue at this moment, Maybe someone has
a clue...

I just read your posting in regards to having problems
creating new issues and risks over Citrix and I'm having
the same problem.

I'm using Project Server web access to create the
sharepoint issues and risks. I can view existing ones
fine but it also comes back with a blank page and never
actually opens the forms - it just sit's with opening
link in the bottom bar of the browser but will not
actually display the page.

This works fine from a desktop over the LAN but does not
work over a citrix session. It sounds very similar to
your problem and I was wondering if you were able to find
a solution.

I'd really appreciate any input you could provide.

Thanks!

It appeared that the mandatory profile for the cytrix users was not right.
Although that the project server was added to the trusted sites (with a
script), it seems that it was not placed in the mandatory profile on the
citrix machines. After updating the mandatory profile with the right hive of
the registry (a copy of a workstation), the problems disappeared on a test
machine.

The backoffice department is now testing why the there is a difference in
scripting the trust site (I thought it was done with importing a regini file)
for a tempory connection and replacing the mandotry profile.

If I have more information I will publish this here...

Some results:

There is a workaround, when you access the risks and issues via MSProject.
Then it is possible to add new items. But this is a problem for all web
access users without MSProject.

I'll test this out. The admins found some conflicting
software on the citrix servers because once they disabled
it, adding new issues and risks started working.

Thanks for your replies!!

It appeared that the citrix client did not had rights to create a mapping to
the local disk of the server. After recreating the right, the problem was
solved.
