Clean Frame Around Excel

Hi.

My boss wants to get rid of all the tool bars and frames around excel 2003,
like in full screen view. The problem is that he wants excel open on the
bottom 2/3 of his screen. He is running a powerpoint presentation on the top
1/3.

I have dragged down the menu bar to the bottom of the screen. This is
helpful. So here more specifically is what I am wanting help on.

1. He is wondering if there is a way to get rid of the lettering right by
the excel icon on the upper left hand corner of excel's window.

2. He also wants to get rid of the cell location window just below the
excel icon.

3. He also wants to get rid of the formula blank to the right of the fx icon.

Does anybody have any ideas or workarounds on this?

Click on TOOLS in the menu and select OPTIONS. In the OPTIONS dialog box
click the VIEW tab and remove the check from the FORMULA BAR and STATUS BAR.
If you want you can remove the ROW & COLUMN HEADERS, SHEET TABS, HORIZONTAL
and VERTICAL SCROLL BARS.

These options are only going to apply to the current worksheet and if the
focus moves to another sheet the all reappear. You might want to control
this with a macro that executes when a worksheet is activated.
