Clear Baseline Error After Project Server Update

Sam

I am using Project Server 2007 with SharePoint 2007. Recently I applied the
October Cumulative Update to Project Server and shortly thereafter noticed
that whenever I clear the baseline on a project it appears that the baseline
is removed but if I close and reopen the project the baseline shows up again.
This can also be seen in the Project Center where I will clear the baseline
of a project, publish it, refresh the view in Project Center and the original
baseline still displays. If I overwrite the existing baseline with a new one
everything works fine.

I’ve been using Project Server for several years and have never had this
problem up until a few weeks ago. The only thing I can think of that’s
causing it is the October Update that I installed. Is anyone else having
this problem? Do either the December or February updates fix this?

Thanks,
Sam

It seems as though when five things get fixed, something else breaks!
Welcome to the wonderful world of regression errors. I believe that the
baseline issues introduced after the IU are fixed in the December CU.

Thanks for the replay Gary. I'll give the December update a try and see if
that soves things.
