hi all,
using window xp pro, sp2, office 2003 sp1
would someone be able to advice me on how to clear the cache that hold my
past saved as file names from the saved as box? for e.g. i am in excel ->
file -> save as -> save as dialog box would appear with file name box at the
bottom with a down arrow on the right handside of the file name box. clicking
on this showed the past saved filenames. it is these cached information that
i want to clear and ideally make xp/office not to cache this information. is
there a way to achieve this? preferably without having to install 3rd party
software if possible even if it means dwelving to registry. appreciate
help/advice on this matter.
