Clear Local Cache?

With MSP2007 we are continuing to have problems with projects getting stuck
during check in, even after installation fo SP1. Clearing the local cache
seems to correct the problem the majority of the time. This is a major
irritant and we are looking for work arounds or fixes. We are considering
clearing the local cache every time MSP2007 starts, until we receive a fix
for this problem. We are willing to pay the price for the reduced
"performance" if it resolves the issue of projects getting stuck checking in.

Has anyone found a good work around for this problem, or considered what we
are consideirng above?

Hi,
I work around the issue by still using File | Save, File | Publish and then
File | Close - this seems to minimise most issues. Occassionally things go
wrong, but we don't normally have to clear the cache, just open from the
server.

It would be v. easy to create such a routine, and I'm surprised that there
isn't a switch to turn it of!

Thanks Ben. We will continue to try the work around which is basically what
you suggested. If that fails we will probably create a routine to clear the
cache.
