clearing address auto-complete

Does anyone know how to "clear" the address auto-complete. A few seldom
used addresses pop up when I try to send to frequently used addresses that
happen to have similar names. I don't want to inadvertently send to wrong
person if I am not paying close enough attention!!

Remove individual addresses from the autocompletion cache by highlighting
the entry when presented in the suggested names list (use your arrow key to
migrate to the entry) and then hitting your Delete key before you tab out of
the field. To clear the entire cache, follow the instructions here:
