Clearing cached project data?

I have a project that was complete in Dec of last year and a particular
resource has no more tasks assigned after that date.

However, when I open another (current) project plan which contains the same
resource, the resource views are showing several days work for that resource
during Jan/Feb/Mar 2007 for the old plan and therefore the overall effort
figures for that resource in 2007 are incorrect.

I am assuming (but I don't know) that this is because at some point my
original plan did have effort in for that resource for 2007 which I have
subsequently cleared but it has been cached somehow and is still being picked
up in the new plan.

Anyone know if this is the case and, if so, how I cna clear the cache for
that project? I have tried republishing the old plan but this hasn't resolved
it. (If it's relevant, the resource data showing in the web access views is
correct. Note also that I have 2 or 3 other current plans which contain this
resource and the same problen occurs in them)

In Resource Center, what does Resource Assignments show for this
resource. Are there assignments from some other project, a previous
copy or administrative time for this resource that is showing
assignments for 2007?

Resource Assignments shows all information correctly for 2007 - It does not
show any information for the old plan

[Pradeep] The recommended way to clear the cache is to go to Tools->Local
project cache->Cleanup Cache, select the projects that you want cleared and
clear them (make sure the projects you are clearing are not open). If that
doesn't work, close Project Professional, open windows explorer, go to
<%appdata%\microsoft\ms project> and delete the 'Cache' folder and try
connecting to the server again. Hope that helps.
