Click and open an archive

Hello!
I want to do something I think it is simple but I don't know how do it. In a
new web, I want to put, for example, the word "Open" and then when I click
on the word, I want to open an archive (from my computer) not to download
it! How can I do it? I've tried to select the word and then, "Insert" -->
"Hiperlink" and find the archive I want to open. But instead opening I
download it? What happen? Thanks in advance!

Because of browser security settings you can not create a link in a web page that will open a file
on someone's HD.

I apologize to you for my obstinacy! Suppose for example I write two words:
"Bookkeeping" and "Secretary". I want the following: when I click on
"Bookkeeping" it may open "Excel" and when I click on "Secretary" if may
open "Word" (always all this in my computer). Is there any way to do that?

No, for all users

Browsers can't open programs on users machines for security reasons

For your own use only you could link to an Excel.xls or Word.doc file and open it in Excel or Word using

Forgive my stupidity. If this is just on your machine,
why don't you place a shortcut on the bar at the bottom
of your Windows screen and simply click to run Excel or
Word from there? You can even have tooltips
named "Bookkeeper" and "Secretary" if you want.
