Clicking on a hyperlink in Word XP does not work: says to contact.

Hyperlinks in Word (Office XP) do not work. I get the following error message:

This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this
computer. Please contact your system administrator.

FYI:This is a single PC at home.
