Clicking on Contacts folder crashes outlook

Every time I click on the contacts folder in Outlook 2002,
a window appear saying that it has encountered a problem
and has to close. It sends an error report to MSN but it
does not suggest any solution apart from upgrade to the
latest version, which I have done.
There seems to be some corruption but I cannot find a way
to resolve it - Can anyone help
