client pc setup

My company will be purchasing many pc's in the coming monthes as we expand
our business. I am looking for suggestions on documenting the installs for
archival purpose. I would like to include things such as system info, build
date, software and license information, user accounts, etc.

I have never had to create anything besides simple word and excell documents
so I was hoping for some layout suggestions, or possibly a preexisting
template for Office 2003.

Thanks for the response. I have used BelArc advisor in the past and found it
to be a great application so I assume this will work well also.

I would love an other suggestion people may have.
