clip art does not display on web site

I saved clip art as jpeg and added it to my web page design on Front Page.
The preview shows the clip art but when I uploaded it to my web site, a box
with a red X appears where the clip art should be displayed. What am I doing
wrong?

After you have converted your clipart to .jpg (if it needed to be converted)
then with your website opened in FP;

File | Import file and browse to where you have stored the converted clipart
and Import it into FP before placing it into your layout in FP.

To a Word doc? No.

What kind of image file is the clipart in originally?

*IF* it needed converting to .gif or .jpg or .png, you would do this in an
image editing program not Word.

What image editor are you using now?

I tried adding clipart directly from FrontPage via Insert-Picture-Clip Art.
I’ve also added an image from Microsoft Office Picture Manager (which is
saved as JPG) via cut and paste. Either way, when published and I look at
the site, my clipart appears as an empty box with a red x.

In Both cases you must file import the image or clipart into your FP site before you use it in a page
