Clip Art Error code: 0x8007000E

We have the SBS 2000 Server OS (SP4) running on a Domain
Controller and Terminal Server with 25 local XP clients
and 2 remote XP clients connected through the TS. We have
Word 2002 installed on the TS.

Whenever the non-Administrator users login to the TS and
try to insert Clip Art into Word, they get the following
error:

"Not enough memory. Try closing other applications or
restart the computer.
Not enough storage is available to complete this
operation. Error Code 0x8007000E"

I found KB article 820070 which directly addresses this
problem and I followed the recommended workaround by
downloading these two files and installing them onto the
TS. However, after these were installed the problem is
still not fixed. What else can I do to fix this?

I am able to insert Clip Art when I login to the TS with
the Administrator account, but then after I added one of
the regular users to the Administrator group this still
didn't enable them to insert clip art.

What can I do to fix this?

I made this client a member of the local administrators
group and now Clip Art works fine. But I don't feel
comfortable giving them this many privileges. Any clue on
how I can get the workaround to work instead?

Thanks.

I installed MDAC 2.8, but now I can't insert any of the
pictures and I still have given all users local
administrative privileges. The only thing I changed was
the MDAC version and now when users try to insert pictures
in Word, the error window pops up: "Word cannot obtain the
data for ..."

How do I fix this? Also, how can I uninstall MDAC 2.8 so
that it will start working again?

Thanks.

Nevermind, I finally fixed this problem. I had to
increase the amount of disk space to use for the
temporary internet files.

Ryan,

Greetings. I see you have this problem fixed, but I just want a
little clarification. Did you fix it by downloading the files from
the KB article, AND give people local Admin privileges, AND increase
their temporary internet folder size? Did you only have to do one of
these three things, or a combination? Thank you!

Hello, I have the save problem and did as Ryan had said and increase th
disk space for temp. internet files but this did not solve the proble
(I had also applied the lastest MDAC). Does anyone have anything els
I could try?

Thank you

Carm,

The only other thing I've seen is that you need to be a local
Administrator. I know that works, because it works for me (I'm an
Admin) but it doesn't for my coworkers (they are just Users). Try
that and see if it helps, but I REALLY hope there's a better answer
out there, because I don't want everyone to be Administrators on our
Citrix Server! That's insane! Good luck.
