Clip Art Gallery (Office 2001) Problem

Help, I can no longer access the clip art gallery in any Office 2001
product. When I pull down on the menu, the menu header bar just
darkens & blinks briefly and then nothing happens. Instead I have to
insert a picture via the "from a file" option which is a big pain.
Does anyone know what I did and how I can fix it so the Clip Art
Gallery comes up?

Hi Catherine,

It sounds like something has changed on your computer. My first
troubleshooting suggestion is to use Sherlock to search for the word "clip."
Throw away the "Clip Gallery Preferences" file with all office applications
closed, then empty the trash. Try again and see if that fixed the problem.

Thanks for your input. I threw out my Clip Gallery Preferences but
the Clip Art Gallery still won't appear. Any other suggestions?

I can't think of anything in particular that would cause the problem.
Here's an article with general troubleshooting steps to take. One of these
things is likely to cure the ill, but I don't know which one to suggest
first.
