clip art hangs up in word 2003

I'm trying to insert clip art in word 2003. I choose insert, clip art and
then the system just hangs up. No clip organizer, no gallery, no nothing. I
have to totally restart system. Clip organizer seems to be working in
Publisher 2003. Why is it hanging up my system in Word?
