Clip Art

I'm trying to develop a business card and I've found a logo I want to use.
Under reeds it's the cattails with the "C" in it. I have tried to change the
"C" to a "R", is there anyway to do it? Thanks, Pat

Maybe after you turn it into an image file you could edit it with an
Image editing program.

What format is the clipart? Where did you get the clipart. If you downloaded it
from the Office web site you cannot use it as a logo.

you don't specify what format, ie file extension, the clipart is.

If it has the .wmf extension then generally you can open it in Powerpoint
(open new blank slide, insert clipart), ungroup the clipart item (right click
on clipart, then grouping/ungroup - answer yes to the next dialog box -
unclick the clipart by left clicking anywhere on the slide and then drag a
box around the clipart and you should see all the components) and continue
from there - but proceed carefully since there may be literally a couple of
dozen, if not more, little components that make up the clipart item.

btw you might want to enlarge the clipart to make it easier to work on -
hold down ctrl key and drag one of the corners of the image.

BUT watch out for copyright infringement - I don't think that the change
you're proposing is sufficient to make it a new work/idea/concept etc so in
all probability you will still be in breach of copyright.

Got a digital camera? go for a walk/drive and take a snap of something you
like and then manipulate that in any of the graphics programs - Paintshop Pro
and Photoshop are just two that spring to mind. No copyright hassles and
you'll have something original (and you probably could register that as your
trade mark).
