Clipboard application error

Edie

I have received the following error message while using Word 2003:

^P ^ b1 of 24 - Clipboard ^ b1^S Item Collected: WINWORD.EXE Application Error
The Instruction at "01x7c910a19" referenced memory at "0x0000001c". The
memory could not be "read".
Click on OK to terminate program.

Please help. I could not find anything on this on the Microsoft error site.

Hi Edie,

This, I am sure, is related to your earlier error. You have some other
program that it trying to do things with the clipboard; it is not a
Microsoft error. Now, if only I could remember what it was ...

It must be something that is running - and probably listed in the Task
Manager; recognising it from the task list, however, won't be easy (and
reproducing the list here won't be easy either). Do you know of any
utilities, or other programs, you are running, or have recently installed?

Hi Tony,

First: It appears that my original Clipboard problem may be fixed: A MS
support tech yesterday walked me through adjusting the Clip book settings in
start~services.msc. Automatic startup had been disabled. We have fixed it to
start automatically. So far, at least, the rampant copying of screen shots
has not recurred.

Now for the application error question you asked: Over the last few days I
have worked with four support techs from Microsoft, who have installed
numerous programs on my computer. These include Revo Uninstaller,
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, and Hijack This.

Best,
Edie
