A number of us are having an issue with the Microsoft Office 2003 Copy
& Paste.

The Copy is not always picking up the last items copied. The only
work-around we have found is to bring up the Office Clipboard and
"clear all" before copying items.

What is causing this? How can we stop this problem?

Does this occur in a specific application? Is the application already
running prior to copying the data? Is what you end up pasting a small
image?

If the application is not running and if you are pasting a small image
rather than what you copied then take a look at this article for more
information:

This is happening either going from 1 Excel workbook to another
workbook and between Excel and Access.

This is just a straight copy & paste, no linking. Both applications
are open at the time.

When looking in the Office Clipboard we see the earlier copied entry.
I have cleared all out of the Office Clipboard and then seen the
earlier entries come back.

The wrong results show data - just not what was copied.
