Clipped images/pictures

When inserting a picture from a file, the picture (.tif) is coming in with only a portion of the image showing. When I click on the image the entire box shows, but I still only see the bottom portion of the image in the box. I have determined that the problem did not begin untill I was well into the document I was writing. I was even able to determine the exact line and space. Knowing this has offered me no help at this point

Any help to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated. I have many images to insert into this document

If the image is in a text box, make sure that the paragraph line spacing is
not set to an Exact amount.
