Greetings all!
I want to know if anyone else knows of and/or knows where to find code, in
which I could place within pages that would request the time on the server
(and for the sake of Daylight Savings, allow me to add and/or subtract an
hour from the server time) and display (and update minutely) the time.
Thanks, and Happy Holidays!

Ordinarily, time is captured on the client using JavaScript because the web
server is often in a different time zone. It could be done on the servewhen
needed but it can still require a trip to the client to get the local time
of the client, return the value to the server and then process the offsets
and if needed send the value back to tthe client.

You'll probably need to learn about using UTC [1] which is a global
standard.

Hi:

There is a nice little book (JAVASCRIPT in easy steps, by Mike McGrath,
www.ineasysteps.com) that explains how to do this --- it's simple. Look in
Chapter 5, pages 54-64. It costs $9.95. It's a very good book!
