Clone an appointment to a new date

I am trying to clone an appointment to another date, is there an easy way to
do this other than copy and paste each individual part?

Select the appointment in Day/Week/Month view (press Esc if you go into edit
mode) copy (Ctrl+C) , then paste (Ctrl+V) on the new date.

Right-click and drag the event to the date where the copy should go.
Release the mouse button and choose "Copy"
