How do I properly close a project under the following
situations.
1. We have a project that we started working on last
month and the project was not suppose to end for the next
several months. The customer requested us to cancel the
project.
o How do I close the project and free up the
resources that were assigned to the project for the next
several months?
o I am using the OLAP cube to generate reports for
the work completed. How will this impact my OLAP cube
data.
o Can I reopen the project schedule if the customer
changes his mind?
2. I completed a project and would like to close it
and still be able run my OLAP cube report that shows
metrics on the projects completed.
o What is the best method for closing the project?
o Also, how can I view the project after it is
closed and leverage that project schedule for future work?
situations.
