Closing files in Office 2007

Is it possible in Office 2007 - notably Word and PowerPoint - to close all
files without having the program close too? In other words, can I have Word
or PowerPoint sitting on my desktop without any file open within? (You used
to be able to in Office 2003)

Hi Steve,

Yes, you can do that by closing documents/files through the Office button in each app or you can right click on the Quick Access
Toolbar (QAT) and add the 'Close All' command to the QAT to be able to close documents while leaving the app open.

Hi Bob,

Interesting. They're all correct, and no idea on Peter's 21 minutes <g>.
