Closing out a project

I have a project that is 100 percent complete and I like
to keep the project schedule in the server for historical
information, but I do not want it to appear on the
Project Central view.
I originally thought that I should save the version as
closed, but that only adds another version to the Project
Central view.
I would like to close the project and remove it from the
Project Central View, but still have the ability to run
the Portfolio Analyzer and report metrics on those closed
projects. Any suggestions?
